College Place Block Party 2025

May 18, 2025

The College Place Block Party was a vibrant celebration of community spirit, bringing together residents, students, and local businesses for a day of food, fun, and meaningful engagement. Organized with the support of the City of College Place and Walla Walla University students, the event featured a bustling array of vendor booths, food trucks, and services, offering attendees a diverse selection of shopping and dining options.

At the heart of the festivities stood the MXPowerTeam.org Drug Prevention & Healthy Lifestyle Mobile Classroom—a striking 50-foot interactive educational space dedicated to teaching visitors about the importance of healthy living and the dangers of drug addiction. Families, college students, and attendees of all ages were invited inside for guided tours, learning firsthand about how the Mobile Classroom’s innovative approach helps individuals make informed lifestyle choices.

One of the most engaging attractions was the Motorcycle Race Bike—a hands-on activity that challenged participants to balance between the tires. This experience went beyond simple fun, reinforcing fundamental life skills such as balance, focus, determination, overcoming fear, and tackling obstacles—key principles in both motorcycling and personal development.

Beyond the excitement of the event itself, MXPowerTeam.org made vital connections with community members committed to expanding their outreach. Several attendees pledged to assist in securing access to school administrators, opening the door for future presentations on campuses. With this momentum, the organization is poised to bring its impactful programming directly to students, inspiring the next generation to embrace healthy lifestyles and steer clear of substance abuse.

With the College Place Block Party marking another milestone in their advocacy journey, MXPowerTeam.org now looks ahead to the next phase of their mission: engaging school communities and continuing to empower youth through education.
